Nutritional Counseling in San Luis Obispo
Gabriella Fahmy
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
I strongly believe that a nutritious diet is obtainable by everyone. I enjoy helping people build their skills and knowledge surrounding food and cooking that enables clients to achieve their nutrition and health goals. I take a holistic, individualized approach to care that promotes mindful eating and body positivity. I do not believe in a weight-centered approach to care and am an adamant believer in “healthy at any size” principles. I am passionate about working with diverse populations from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Together, we can build a nurturing plan that works for your medical needs, culture, abilities, budget, tastes, and dietary preferences.

Background
Training, experience, and the path that informs Gabriella's work.
I attended Oregon State University where I studied human nutrition with a minor in psychology. Throughout my time there I grew deeply passionate about the impact that food has not just on our physical health, but on our mental well-being as well. I attended Arizona State University for my graduate studies in nutritional sciences. During my dietetic internship, I completed my clinical rotations at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
More About Me
A quick glimpse of who Gabriella is outside the therapy room.
I am a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist originally from the central coast. I am elated to be able to serve my community through food in an area that values agriculture, sustainability, and a high quality of life. In my free time I love going to the beach, cooking, hiking, gardening, and traveling. My favorite animal is a shark, favorite color is turquoise, and favorite vegetable is a purple carrot.
